Spare time..

Who has any spare time?

I've been so busy since school closed on Dec 17!

Let's see- somehow I need to catch you up on my life.

School was great, I really enjoyed each class. Math was a great refresher, English helped me get over my insecurities and Speech allowed me to blab my big mouth. History was good, but a little too fast- I took both US Hist I & II this past semester. I think I did pretty well too..that makes me happy. = )

We had a blizzard! Tennessee actually had snow in December! In fact, we had so much snow that most of the area was without power for days! So exciting!

And while the giant, fluffy snowflakes fell, we were enjoying a cozy jazz dinner at Kaffe Blue before heading to Indiana the next morning. I'm going to have to request Michelle's yummy stuffed mushrooms again. They were so good!

I had such a great time in Indiana this time! I think it had been long enough that I actually missed Shipshewana and Middlebury a little bit. I'll never miss Elkhart- though I do miss Granny terribly.

After a few days in the icy weather, we came back home the day before Christmas Eve.

I didn't really do much for Christmas this year, we didn't even decorate. Andrae put up the Christmas tree and some white lights-- that was it.

And I didn't have the time or energy to wrap all my presents in pretty paper and ribbons. But I do love my "...brown paper packages tied up with strings...."

Even without all the parties and decorations, Christmas was spectacular this year, maybe even magical. We listened to Christmas music 24/7 since the end of November and we began opening gifts about 2 weeks before Christmas.

Well..that's about all I can write at this moment, the house isn't getting any cleaner!
