Some people have a plague.
Some people are the plague.
It’s the people who complain constantly.
I have no problem with people sharing about the natural bumps and bruises of life. What I get tired of is people who complain about their “situation”, but refuse to do anything about it.
There’s a couple on FB that complain every single day about every aspect of their life.
They are blessed.
But nothing is ever good enough.
They have beautiful kids, but every FB post while the Dad is at home is about how tired he is and how he wishes they would just go to bed.
He has a good job, but every FB post when he goes to work is about how he’s tired and
wants to stay home with his kids. (The same kids he complains about.)
Their kids are sick ALL the time, but look at the FB pictures cataloging the crap they
feed their kids.
They go on vacation, and every single day they post about how they are mad that their vacation isn’t long enough.
They are on vacation and they complain because its raining. Dude. You’re on vacation.
Sit your butt on the front porch and take a nap. (And get off Facebook!)
They buy a new computer (blessed to have money laying around to spend) and they complain about how hard it is to use.
Sounds like a couple of spoiled, rich brats doesn’t it? They aren’t.
They are a couple of middle-lower class Americans who can’t be thankful for anything.
And I’m going to go delete them of my friend’s list right now.
(Done.)
If you find yourself having a hard time being thankful for the small things in life, then God is never going to bless you with the large things.
Be thankful. Be happy. Be content.
Or be miserable. I guess that’s your choice.
I choose happiness.
I totally agree! I have some in laws who are always complaining and competing. It drives me crazy. And I don't know what they choose to be so discontent...about everything! Be happy!!! :)))
