This week the hubs and I are celebrating the
not 1st
not 2nd
not 3rd
not 4th
but…
5th anniversary!!!
It’s kind of hard to believe that we’ve been married for half a decade.
Did you read that?
half of a decade.
To be honest, I celebrated the past 4 anniversaries with little
more than dinner and snuggling with my husband.
It’s not that celebrating wasn’t important to me, but every day is
pretty spectacular with Andraé. We celebrate pretty much every moment together.
All this being said, we are celebrating number 5 in style. More about that later.
Right now I want to share our story.
You know, all that mushy, gushy love stuff.
Not.
Ours is a long story, beginning back in 2001.
Actually, my side started back in 2001.
Andraé's side began in 2003.
Yeah, I was the young [but driven] teenage girl who feel madly in love
with the hot guy playing drums.
With a plan in hand for the ultimate covert operation,
and with an army of operatives,
I eventually grabbed his attention two years later.
My Dad helped the mission, he took A on two summers worth of horseback riding:
This was one of our first pictures together. I even had braces. Blanch.
I was fifteen.
Eventually he fell madly in love with me too.
and then he graduated from college.
I met his family, and he met mine:
We got engaged.
Andraé took me to Grandfather Mtn, my favorite place in the world,
to ask me to marry him.
We got a nice sunburn.
Eventually I got rid of my braces, got legal,
and got married.
Wedding & Honeymoon next…
Happy Anniversary to US!
